The co-founder of this community event, Jeanne Cosgrove, began the event 11 years ago. In 2018, the event lost co-founder Randy Cosgrove, the person we all knew and loved as "The Voice '' of the Steelers for 15 years. Their vision served 200 meals the first year. In 2022, the annual event served 580 homemade meals with all the trimmings and dessert, with meals delivered by volunteers to first responders.
Monthly Community Dinners
The community is invited to dine with us in our downstairs dining room from 4:30pm to 6:00pm on the last Tuesday of every month at Coraopolis UMC. There is no cost to anyone; however, if you'd like, you can give a free will donation. We serve a main course, sides, and dessert. All are welcome. RSVPs are not necessary…just show up and join us for food and fellowship!
Community dinners will start again in Spring 2024.
